The General Directorate of Internal Taxes reported this Monday that the collection corresponding to January 2023 totaled 65,725.2 million pesos, with 2,635.5 million pesos above the estimate for 104.2% compliance during that period.
According to the statement, this figure is equivalent to a growth 14.9% with 8,538.9 million pesos more than January 2022 when 57,186 million pesos were collected.
The institution was responsible for the collection of 77.1% of the 85,296.3 million pesos that entered the State through the collection offices during this month.
Contributions by types of taxes
Regarding tax revenue, the income tax of companies and tax on assets presented the highest increase, collecting 10,425.5 million pesos, which implies an absolute variation of 2,846 million pesos more than January 2022, equivalent to a growth of 37.6%.
While, the collection of income tax of individuals for January 2023 amounted to 10,029.3 million pesos, with an increase of 1,875.5 million pesos, equivalent to 23%.
For the tax on transfers of industrialized goods and services (ITBIS) entered an amount of 18,119.7 million pesos, compared to the 15,662.5 million that entered in the same period of 2022, for an increase of 2,457.2 million pesos for 15.7%.
For the selective of Alcohols and Tobacco, 3,382.7 million pesos were captured in January, with 437.4 million pesos more than in January 2022 for a growth of 14.9%.
For the fuel selectivethe State received 5,876.5 million pesos which, compared to January 2022, when 5,482.6 million pesos were received, meant an increase of 393.9 million pesos.
