The lawyer and president of the Casla Institute, Tamara Suju, denounced this Sunday the 18th the arrest of the Cicpc commissioner Miguel Ángel Ibarreto Sabino by officials of the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (Dgcim).
In a publication In his account on the social network X, Suju explained that Ibarreto was in his home with his relatives when DGCIM officers entered armed and took the former official. “He was presented with new charges and is in Rodeo I,” a prison denounced as a new torture center, according to relatives of political prisoners.
“The regime continues to persecute those who were imprisoned for political reasons, especially former police officers and military personnel, who have been arrested again, or given hearings to receive their release order, and at the same time they are arrested again with the same, more serious charges or new charges,” said the president of the Casla Institute.
