Devil's Driver Shot Down

Three people arrested and one killed is the preliminary result of Operation Zaraza 2024 carried out by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) in Guárico to find the members of the Tren del Llano, whose leaders fomented riots after the presidential elections, according to military sources.

The deceased is known by his alias as Chofer del Diablo, who along with other subjects confronted officers of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) in the La Manga de Coleo sector, Juan José Rondón municipality (Las Mercedes del Llano), Guárico.

Once the confrontation was over, the soldiers collected a Browning PGP 9mm pistol, a pistol magazine and a telephone set, according to a report from GNB Detachment 343.

In the Lezama parish, José Tadeo Monagas municipality (Altagracia de Orituco), two people classified as members of the Tren del Llano were arrested, identified as Miguel Eduardo Di Giona Abad and Gregory Alejandro Contreras Estrada, says the minutes of the Rural Command Detachment 34-2.

Giona Abad is wanted by the Second Trial Court of Guárico for the crime of aggravated robbery.

Another procedure with arrest took place on the El Caballo-Cazorla highway, in the municipality of San Jerónimo de Guayabal, on the border between Guárico and Apure, where Santiago Israel Carreño Lugo was captured and a Covavenca shotgun was seized from him, according to a report from GNB Detachment 343.

Operation Zaraza 2024 remains active to arrest Óscar de Jesús Noguera Hernández (El Diente), leader of the Tren del Llano who led the acts of violence after the presidential elections in sectors of Guárico.
