The Cicpc reported on the capture in Caracas of detective Génesis Nazareth López Martínez (23), who took advantage of her rank and knowledge within the police institution to maintain constant communication with members of the highly dangerous gang Jeison Comino, an organization that responsible for committing the crimes of extortion, kidnapping, robbery, homicide and trafficking of psychotropic substances and narcotics.
López was granted an arrest warrant for treason, obstruction of the administration of justice, aggravated criminal association and terrorism, before the 2nd Special Control Court with Jurisdiction in Cases Related to Crimes Associated with Terrorism.
“The Cicpc rejects these acts,” the report says.
