“I am desperate, the police have not given me any reliable information to this day. (…) We no longer know where to go to find my Zaida, or is it that because I am humble they are turning their backs on me?”said the father of the minor. Likewise, a neighbor who is helping with the search said that the parents are depressed, they are not hungry and they are even tired of crying.
She also asked the community to join in holding a vigil and even mobilizing to search for 14-year-old Zaida Huarcaya.
