After 11:00 p.m., the session of the Constitution Committee of the Chamber of Deputies resumed to listen to census bills presented by the benches of Creemos, Comunidad Ciudadana (CC) and the Movimiento Al Socialismo.
The first designer to start the exhibition was the MAS deputy, Deisy Choquewho made a comprehensive account for 37 minutes about the indefinite strike that is taking place in Santa Cruz.
After that, the parliamentarian informed, in five minutes, that her project is based on the census is carried out on March 23, 2024 and the results are delivered by September of the same year, as was the Government’s proposal.
At the end of his speech, he asked the president of the Constitution Commission, Juan José Jáuregui, to convene the Minister of Planning, Sergio Cusicanqui, and the National Institute of Statistics (INE), to explain to the members of the commission the work what did they do to determine the registration in 2024.
Then it was the turn of Carlos Alarcón, from Comunidad Ciudadana, who also gave a chronological account emphasizing “a black hand” that changed the course of the census that already had everything on track to be held in November 2022.
