Santo Domingo.- The Vice President of the Dominican Republic, Raquel Peña, wore a suit made by designer Luis Domínguez on Friday to attend the inauguration ceremonies for the second term of President Luis Abinader.
In this regard, designer Luis Domínguez shared on his Instagram account the official illustration of his Haute Couture Atelier’s proposal for the re-elected Vice President, Raquel Peña, on the occasion of the reception offered by President Luis Abinader to the Heads of State and Government, held at the Ozama Fortress.
“This proposal made for our Vice President Raquel Peña, was composed of two pieces in a yellow blouse and pants set, which represented our beautiful sunrises, along with a blue belt that represented the color of our seas,” said the designer along with a carousel of photos, where the vice president is shown at various moments of the night.
“Doña Raquel wore this asymmetrical poncho-style blouse set with a cascading fall over flowing straight palazzo-style pants.”
Domínguez added that “the fabric used for its manufacture is an exquisite Silk Crepe de Chine in a shade of Narcissus Yellow. To complement this sublime ensemble, our embroidery artisans carried out a majestic hand-work on a waistband which was embroidered with Original Larimar Stones (our national gem) which were carefully selected and polished by our friends at the Larimar Museum. @LarimarMuseum“.
