Unify police action in the national territory, guarantee respect for human rights, contribute to the effective process of supervision and control of the function of men and women dedicated to the security of the Venezuelan population, are the main attributes of the documents technicians built by the Vice Ministry of the Integrated Criminal Investigation System (Visiip).
This was highlighted by the Chief Commissioner Edward Perez, CEO of Strategic Design of Criminal Investigation, during his participation in the program “Criminal investigation for the people”, broadcast through Instagram Live, by the account @MijpRadio.
In a press release, the aforementioned management reports on the design of 16 technical documents, of which 12 are action protocols of strict compliance for citizen security bodies.
Pérez pointed out that among these documents, the protocols for the Investigation of the Crime of Kidnapping, Apprehension, Transfer, Protection and Preventive Custody of the Detainee and the Detainee stand out, for the Investigation of Financial, Computer Crimes, Scams and Other Frauds, for the Correct Installation, Operation and Permanence of Control Points, for the Qualification, Technical Assistance and Suspension of Attributions and Competences in the Matter of Criminal Investigation.
Likewise, the protocol for the drafting of police records in the development of a criminal investigation, which was recently approved by the Sector Vice President for Citizen Security and Peace, A/J Remigio Ceballos Ichaso.
“We have incorporated the various institutions that are part of the Integrated Criminal Investigation System into the working groups for the design of these important documents, including the Public Ministry (MP), the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), the Public Defense (DP) and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), who together with experts in the different areas of knowledge, have come to enrich the work that we develop from the Visiip”, he stated.
Dissemination of the protocols at the national level
The Chief Commissioner, General Director of Strategic Design of Criminal Investigation, stated that following instructions from Minister Ceballos Ichaso, the Visiip carries out the nationwide dissemination of the protocol for the drafting of police records in the development of a criminal investigation, where they have been trained to more than 1,100 multipliers, who have the mission of replicating the content of said document in their respective states.
In this way, the Vice Ministry of the Integrated Criminal Investigation System contributes to good police practices, due process and continuous training of officials with competence in the area, as part of the Great Quadrants of Peace Mission.
