Derlys Ayala wins the Cataratas Half Marathon

The multi-marker Ayala took over one of the most spectacular races on the planet on Sundayperformed in the middle of the beauties of the Iguazú National ParkNatural Heritage of Humanity recognized by Unesco.

The event had as a backdrop the grandeur of the Iguazú Falls, the largest set of waterfalls in the world where Derlys crossed the finish line in first place with a time of 01:09:08.

The second place corresponded to Wagner Nunes Dos Santos with a time of 01:14:31 and the Third on the podium was Alexandro Pereira with a record of 01:16:20.

This Half Marathon went beyond the Triple Frontier, in its 14th edition, athletes from 6 nationalities had the pleasure of running in the land of the Iguazú Falls, with the participation of 4,595 runners from different parts of Brazil and the world (Paraguayans, Argentines, Chileans, Americans and Russians).

Derlys Ayala loved the experience, highlighting what follows “The landscape is very beautiful and contrasts with the demanding route. You get a lot out of it, and that’s the most important thing, enjoy running in a marvel. This is one of the most beautiful, with an experience like no other. My first time here and I will definitely be back.I really enjoyed it”.
