The deputy and regional president of Primero Justicia (PJ) Karim Vera lamented that actions approved and promulgated by the Maduro government continue without planning that operates and benefits all of Venezuela and not areas in particular. In her opinion, these measures lend themselves to the continuation of suspicions of irregularities
The deputy of the National Assembly (AN) elected in 2015 Karim Vera branded the approval of the Law of Special Economic Zones as a new “parapet”. He questioned that the state of Táchira had not been included as a priority, despite the fact that in 2016 the former governor, José Gregorio Vielma Mora, was the coordinator in charge of the Ureña-San Antonio Border Special Economic Zone, without executing any action in this regard, being a sector of great fluency.
Vera, regional president of Primero Justicia in the entity, was ratified that governing for and by Venezuelans is not the priority. “We have not the slightest doubt that the border crossing will be open, but what has been shown so far is that all the economic effort will be directed at the Caribbean border,” she said.

Although he said that he does not underestimate the progress that can be made on the island of La Tortuga, he described as unusual that the municipalities of Bolívar and Pedro María Ureña de Táchira, which, he said, have historically had the greatest flow of migration and commercial exchange in Latin America, will not enter into the priority of Nicolás Maduro, regarding economic activation.
Karim Vera lament that actions approved and promulgated by the regime continue without planning that operates and benefits all of Venezuela and not particular areas, which also lends itself to the continuation of suspicions of irregularities. “Beyond the high expectations created by the regime, Táchira is not among those prioritized.”
