A total of four thousand 505 communal circuits are prepared to prioritize a project that will be chosen this Sunday through the second, National Popular Consultation 2024, which will be carried out in the country and which has so far collected more than 32 thousand proposals throughout the Venezuelan territory, reported the second vice president of the Permanent Commission for the Development of the Communes of the National Assembly, deputy Juan Carlos Sierrain an interview given on the program Al Aire, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
“More than 32 thousand proposals have been collected throughout the country. We come from a process that took place in April in what was the first experience, there was a significant level of participation and I am sure that what we will see this Sunday will exceed expectations and participation,” said the parliamentarian.
He stressed that the Bolivarian Revolution is building a new system of government, which is why the people are consulted about where the resources are directed to carry out the works in the community. “The people themselves present the project, develop it and execute it, that is, we are doing the communal cycle as Commander Hugo Chávez proposed.”
He also said that, of the seven projects that will be on the ballot, each resident will choose the one that he or she considers to be the most important for subsequent approval and execution, after the winner is announced on the same day of the election.
