“We communicated with different authorities. Both the director of Unasev and the president of the State Insurance Bank to give defensive driving courses in the department. These can be face-to-face or remote.
We also spoke with the president of Anep, Robert Silva, so that the matter of road safety is included in educational centers, something that we have been demanding for years,” said the legislator.
Silva reported that an agreement was signed with Unasev to teach courses for teachers, included in a National Road Safety Plan and also announced that Road Safety courses for Primary are being included in the educational reformulation.
“We believe that the Traffic Directorate in the Colonia Municipality has to change because its results have not been good. We see that there is neither prevention nor controller. It happens in all cities. There is lack of control in the way it is handled at speed. There are bites. Vehicles that do not comply with regulations, often in front of inspectors.
We believe that there must be a very strong job from the Colonia Transit Directorate that has to respond to what is happening, there is a lot of concern on the part of many neighbors, ”said the deputy.
