Deputy Oyarzo (PDG) announces sixth withdrawal project: "What the Executive presented is very insufficient and does not reach all Chileans"

Within the framework of the general approval of the “alternative” withdrawal of the government in the Labor Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, a group of parliamentarians announced that they will present an initiative to achieve a “sixth withdrawal” of the AFPs.

This was confirmed by the deputy of the Partido de la Gente, Rubén Oyarzo, who indicated that they are collecting signatures to promote the initiative.

“Unfortunately, what the Executive presented is very insufficient, very focused and does not reach all Chileans. We want something more globalized”, he assured. “We also support self-lending, but also the fifth withdrawal,” he added.

Along the same lines, Oyarzo pointed out that the project is being promoted with “deputies from the DC, René Alinco (PPD), Pamela Jiles is also invited”, adding that the scope of this sixth retreat is following the same path because “we see that They want to reject the fifth withdrawal.

“They cry out to us in the territory for help and unfortunately what the government offers is not enough,” he emphasized.

On the other hand, the deputy of the Socialist Party, Jaime Naranjo, was critical of this measure, stating that there will be parliamentarians who “will be presenting projects for four years”, for which he called them not to “continue feeding that presentation”.

“There are going to be parliamentarians and parliamentarians who are going to be presenting retirement fund projects for four years. I would call on those parliamentarians not to continue feeding that presentation of projects,” concluded the deputy.
