Deputy Mogollón: The country will not give in to Yankee imperialism

The deputy of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Carlos Mogollón, assured that the Bolivarian Revolution is prepared “in a year that promises a lot for Venezuela”, since mega-elections will be held to elect deputies to the National Assembly, governors, mayors and councilors. . Likewise, he asserted that the Venezuelan Government will not give in to the interference of imperialism.

“Fascism said that we were not going to go beyond January 10, but here we built the Republic and raised the national flag from different visions, because it is necessary,” said Mogollón during the Apulso program broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

In that sense, he guaranteed that the administration of President Nicolás Maduro will not give in to the interventionist pretensions of Yankee imperialism. “We must be strong to build the Venezuela we want,” he said.

For his part, the national general secretary of Copei and deputy to the National Assembly, Juan Carlos Alvarado, considered that the 2025 mega-elections represent a great opportunity for the people and will allow political and ideological differences to be resolved. “The Copei party will actively participate with clear, concise and precise proposals,” he said.

From the National Electoral Council, it was reported in recent days that the dates and schedule for the first elections that will be held during the year 2025 have already been defined. In the next few hours the date of this first election will be announced and they will be activated, immediately, the events planned in the electoral schedule.

Another topic addressed by Mogollón and Alvarado was the proposal to intervene militarily in Venezuela formulated by former Colombian president Álvaro Uribe.

“If it were up to them (Álvaro Uribe and María Corina Machado) we would already be in an open war, by sowing paramilitarism in our neighborhoods, fields and prisons,” commented the deputy.

On this point, Alvarado congratulated the State security forces that participated in the operation where El Wilexis, a criminal linked to Colombian paramilitarism and violent opposition groups, was killed. The antisocial was wanted on charges of homicide, extortion and kidnapping.

“We recognize the work that was done by the Ministry of Interior Relations,” said the deputy.
