Deputy Miguel Salazar affirms that coercive measures affect the population more

The deputy of the National Assembly for the Copei party, Miguel Salazar, reiterated the rejection of the unilateral coercive measures by the United States against the Venezuelan people and advocates the lifting of the restrictions, because they affect the entire population, as expressed the parliamentarian during an interview on the program Al Aire broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión.

Salazar expressed that this policy does not give results in the world, “Venezuela is the fifth country in the world with sanctions, there is Russia, China. Many countries have sanctions and the governments of those nations are there and who ends up being affected by this situation are precisely the Venezuelans.”

The deputy criticized that today the extreme right sector that requested the application of coercive measures against Venezuela, seriously affecting the Venezuelan people in their economy, health and food, “that opposition today wants to participate in an internal consultation process to have a presidential candidate They never believed in the electoral process in Venezuela, they were the ones who went to the United States and the international community to request sanctions to affect the people of Venezuela”.

“We have been against, we were against, and we will be against all those measures that have been imposed on the Venezuelan State, because they affect the population,” Salazar said.
