The deputy of Cree María René Álvarez delivered this Saturday to the presidents of the Pro Santa Cruz Committee, Rómulo Calvo, a letter requesting, in a formal way, that one of the points to be discussed in the council this Sunday, November 12, be the request resignation of the Minister of Government, Eduardo Del Castillo, considering him “the author and main operator of the harassment, repression, fence and acts of terrorism against the city of Santa Cruz”.
In a telephone communication with EL DEBER, the national deputy pointed out that the requests for the 2023 census have triggered “a series of criminal terrorist acts by the Government towards the people of Santa Cruz; translated into repression, harassment and intimidation and the main operator of these acts has been Del Castillo. Who must also be held responsible for the siege of Santa Cruz and the takeover of the YPFB Palmasola refinery,” Álvarez said.
In the same letter, he informs Calvo that a team of parliamentarians, of which Álvarez is a member, is working on the corresponding interpellations so that within the Plurinational Legislative Assembly This public official can be censored, “who should work for the safety of citizens but has done the opposite,” he said.

“In my role as a national deputy, it is up to me to make these kinds of requests, because let’s not forget that Del Castillo is a designated public servant and has committed several crimes for which we have questioned him. For example, that of the “chuto” cars in which the participation of police officers in a network of car thefts in Chile was revealed and which were then sold in Bolivia.
