The deputy for the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Julio Chávez, highlighted the importance that the National Assembly for this new period 2023, consolidate the advances obtained in political, economic and social matters in the country, as well as in the international arena, where geopolitics shows a different picture, with the leadership of the new progressive governments and Venezuela.
In an interview on the Al Aire program, Deputy Chávez highlighted that the AN has done what it is supposed to do, for the benefit of the Venezuelan population, with the approval of different laws, “today every day in Venezuela there is more hope, there is more expectation, we will be able to elect the National Assembly for the corresponding legislative period and we will consolidate what we have been achieving”.
In the same way, he stressed that in this new legislative period, the AN must prepare for the electoral event that must take place according to the Constitution of the Republic for the year 2024, and continue guaranteeing peace for all Venezuelans.
Likewise, he indicated that, in the face of the new challenges within national politics, the national oppositions must overcome their internal contradictions and be honest with the country, “they do not finish telling the country what they are, that they represent neoliberal interests, that which has been rejected for many years by the peoples”.
He also added that by 2023 Venezuela is shaping up to consolidate economic prosperity by strengthening relations with Latin American countries led by progressive governments, such as: Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Cuba, Nicaragua, among others.
“If we are capable of creating policies with that nationalist perspective, that we have everything to develop and seek solutions, then the strategic allies will prop up that wealth and exchange, to develop our own science and technology, as well as the development of the forces real productive, together with a popular power that has to continue consolidating itself, precisely to finish laying the foundations of an alternative and sustainable model over time,” he said.
