The member of the Permanent Commission of Popular Power and Communication of the National Assembly (AN), Deputy Juan Carlos Aleman, opined that after the victories obtained in 2022, “Venezuelans must bet on dialogue, in this 2023, for the prosperity of the nation, so that economic success is a reality.” .
In this sense, in an interview for the program In the airtransmitted by Venezuelan Television (VTV), the deputy recalled that in 2022, the national government managed to resume talks with some sectors of the Venezuelan opposition; In addition, the Chevron oil company was authorized to resume commercial operations with Venezuela and, also, the release of various resources withheld abroad was obtained. “Such events will allow the relaunch of the national economy this year,” he opined.
It is worth noting that the second agreement that Venezuela signed with the opposition contemplates the creation of a trust fund to protect the Venezuelan people, whose resources will go to cover needs in the areas of health, education, food, public services, among others; in addition to the defense of Guayana Esequiba.
On the other hand, the parliamentarian highlighted as positive the legislative exercise of the national parliament, which approved 39 laws in the first discussion during 2022. At the same time, he highlighted that 72 sessions were held, which means great productivity in favor of the Venezuelan people.
In relation to the laws of Popular Power, he emphasized that they deepen and transform the Venezuelan State, since citizens govern from their communities.
“The revolution is inclusion,” said Deputy Juan Carlos Aleman.
Regarding the legislative activities for this 2023, the parliamentarian pointed out that the Permanent Commission of Popular Power and Communication will delve into various legal instruments of Popular Power, because it is “a mechanism for transformation and eradication of corruption.”
In addition, he insists that the national parliament must resume and maintain the discussion of the rules that regulate the use of social networks in the country, in defense of children and Venezuelans in general.
Finally, he assured that the success of a Law is to build it with the people. “For a Law to have a real impact on society, that is, to be accepted by the people, it must be given a lot of publicity and popular consultations,” added the AN deputy.
