“At this time I would not support anyone and be careful, I am the next candidate to preside over the PRD secretariat,” Salazar said.
Deputy Jairo “Bolota” Salazar does not rule out being a candidate for the general secretary of the ruling Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD).
The PRD expressed on RPC Radio that he would like to one day take the reins of the PRD, “because this party was not made for the rich who have invaded us, when it was made to serve the country’s poor class.”
He stated that some “want to give us guidelines for who we have to vote for, but in the National Assembly they cannot give us a line.”
“At this time I would not support anyone and be careful, I am the next candidate to preside over the PRD secretariat,” Salazar said.
In addition, he maintained that neither Vice President José Gabriel Carrizo, nor Pedro Miguel González, have expressed their intention to occupy the general secretariat of said group.
