The deputy of District One of the National District, Eliazer Matos (Elías), supervised this Saturday the repair work of households to low-income people who carry out the Ministry of Housing and Buildings in the demarcation.
He specified that the repairs are carried out through meetings with the neighborhood associations, who present the needs of the residents in the different neighborhoods of the demarcation.
Currently, more than 15 homes are being intervened that were identified with the most vulnerable conditions, located in the sectors of 16 de Agosto, Luz Consuelo, San Gabriel, Alto del Pedregal, San Miguel, El Manguito, Ensanche Quisqueya, La Paz, and Enriquillo and The Lottery.
He pointed out that “The repairs of the houses are carried out at a precise moment, since a few days ago we started the Cyclonic Season 2022, which is forecast to be very active in the Caribbean and Atlantic region, so the intervened houses will have greater security”.
The legislator asserted that the legislators, the mayors and the officials of the government presided over by President Luis Abinader are focused on working for the people, especially with the most dispossessed and in conditions of vulnerability.
