Deputy Director of the National Police moves to the Rufo A. Garay de Colón Institute, after an incident on campus

The deputy director general of the National Police, Simón Henríquez, accompanied by the chief of the police zone, commissioner Víctor Méndez, toured the Rufo A. Garay Institute in the province of Colón this morning, in the face of the latest act of violence that was recorded within of the educational campus.

During his visit, Henríquez indicated that the Children’s Police is maintained in this and other educational centers, with the aim of increasing the security of the province and maintaining tranquility among students and teachers who go to schools.

For her part, the director of the Institute, Ixia Rodríguez de Flores, thanked the police presence and the programs that are carried out preventively.
