The head of the bench of UDI deputies, Jorge Alessandriaddressed the removal of Navy Rear Admiral Jorge Parga in the position of head of National Defense for the provinces of Biobío and Arauco in the Biobío region, within the framework of the State of Exception in force in the area.

Following Parga’s removal, the government appointed Navy Rear Admiral Juan Pablo Zuniga Alvayay as the new head of National Defense for the provinces of Biobío and Arauco.
