Santo Domingo.- The Chamber of Deputies approved this Monday to invite the members of the Plenary of the Chamber of Accounts to clarify the complaints about alleged anomalies and excesses that occurred in that institution by its president, Janel Ramírez.
The president of the commission, Rogelio Alfonso Genao Lanza, said that they voted unanimously to invite the members of said organization.
“The issue of the Chamber of Accounts came up from some complaints, and we decided to invite the Plenary to listen to them and clarify any doubts that there may be in this body that is in charge of the control and supervision of State resources,” explained Genao.

The invitation was approved by a commission of deputies and is expected to take place next week.
Several members of the Plenary of the Chamber of Accounts met with the presidents of both hemicycles to deal with complaints of irregularities related to the president of the supervisory body.
