“I think there are no votes. There are many leaks. He has more problems Old than us. There are like 4 to 5 processed and that costs him. They are afraid of retaliation. They are afraid that their causes will be activated. Exchange of votes for impunity as always, ”she expressed.
Amarilla herself expressed in the morning that the libel was going to be presented in the afternoon. However, such a thing did not happen.
They decided to wait for what is decided at the Liberal Convention to be held this Sunday, March 13, in order to achieve a block vote of the Liberals in favor of the trial.
EXTORTION
In the morning hours of Wednesday, and when the legislators still planned to present the libel that same day, Elida Favole, Director of Communication of the Prosecutor’s Office published a series of comments on her social network twitter; (@efavole), which were taken as an extortive measure against legislators.
In the posts, he accuses the Government of wanting to cover up the links of high officials with organized crime and smuggling cases, requesting a political trial against the State Attorney General.
“A very interested legislator would be offering gold and money for the political trial, since a close person, in an open process, can be charged with 15 to 20 years in prison for drug trafficking. This defendant would be carrying the responsibility of shutting up who is the boss, ”reads one of the publications.
He points out that a very heavyweight of drug trafficking got him a list of voters in favor of a legislator who would be one of the main promoters of the political trial. And who in his speeches always mentions the word “Narco-state”.
Finally, he affirms that there is an audio that involves a minister who “would never be expected to do something dishonest.” However, he does not give names and does not detail what kind of crimes it is about.
Given the viralization of the posts, the same Sandra Quiñónez, Attorney General of the State, also published on the same social network that disavows said statements and disclaims any responsibility with respect to what she mentioned.
“I have ordered the instruction of an administrative summary in order to establish the responsibilities of said official of this institution,” he posted.
