The original wording also provided that the patent could be renewed for another 10 years, but after the lobbying of the companies, the deputies also expanded it at 20. That is, admitted Fernando Castro Trenti (Morena), they can enjoy the license to operate in customs up to 40 years.
In the session of the commission where the opinion was approved with 31 votes of Morena and its allies, and 12 against the opposition, the deputy said: “At present, the youngest customs agent is 35 years old, that is, it would conclude its activities at 75.” He even said that with the changes to the initiative “the myth is broken” that the deputies do not change a comma to what the Executive sends.
The same validity times were endorsed for the patent of the customs agencies, and the deadline for the mandatory certification of the agents was extended to three years, instead of the two proposed by the project. However, it was specified in transitory that to the already authorized and in force patents, the validity of 20 years will be applicable, to end the life licenses.
They maintain more sanctions and co -responsibility
