During the blended session, both blocks, the pro-government and the opposition, launched accusations for handling the pandemic. In this regard, the president of the Budget Committee, Erasmo González Robledo, said that the 2020 Public Account registered changes after its approval in 2019, derived from the health contingency caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Deputy Héctor Saúl Téllez Hernández announced the vote against the PAN for the second year of the Federal Government for being under what he called “the seal of corruption.”
He accused that institutions such as the Institute of Health for Well-being (INSABI), the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) and the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), in addition to the Ministry of Health, had deviations of resources for more than 3,500 million pesos.
“In the most unfortunate and critical year of the pandemic, the Government dedicated itself to profiting from the disease of Mexicans and there are three thousand 500 million pesos under observation for the purchase of fans, masks, gloves and uniforms”, he highlighted.
