The 2nd Control Court of Miranda decreed imprisonment for Jeison Alexander Serrano Serrano (24) for allegedly abusing his two stepdaughters, ages 12 and 9, a fact detected on January 14 in the La Avioneta sector of El Tamarindo, Plaza municipality, Guarenas, Miranda state, the Public Ministry reported in a bulletin.
That day, the mother of the victims went to the municipal police headquarters to explain that her eldest daughter wrote a letter to her maternal grandmother to ask for help, because her stepfather touched her private parts, among others. After several investigative procedures, the aggressor was immediately arrested on the day of the complaint and placed under the command of the Public Ministry.
During the presentation hearing held in the aforementioned Mirandino court, the 21st prosecutor’s office of the jurisdiction charged the man with the crime of sexual act with a particularly vulnerable victim in a continuous degree.
Once the exposed elements of conviction were evaluated, the court issued the custodial measure against Serrano Serrano, who is being held at the municipal police headquarters.
In another judicial procedure, the 1st Trial Court of Zulia decreed a sentence of 20 years in prison for Américo Chiquinquirá Fuenmayor (75), for sexually abusing a 13-year-old teenager, the Prosecutor’s Office reported. The incident was detected on March 9, 2025 in the Community Integration neighborhood of the Luis Hurtado Higuera parish, Maracaibo, Zulia state.
In the afternoon of that day, the victim told his mother that his neighbor was sending messages to his cell phone to invite him to his house.
