The hearing for the presentation of the detainee began on Thursday afternoon and ended on Friday morning at the Palace of Justice in Caracas. Judge José Macsimino Marquéz García explained the reason for the hearing and immediately gave the floor to the 73rd national prosecutor of the Public Ministry, Johannelis Escalona, who made a brief statement on how Cheremos Carrasquel was arrested.
At that point, prosecutor Escalona stated that Cheremos Carrasquel was arrested last Friday, October 21, at the facilities of the Terrazas del Tamanaco business premises, located in Zaraza, Guarico.

In the aforementioned video eleven people are displayed: 9 men and two women, carrying firearms, specified the Prosecutor’s Office.
After the presentation, prosecutor Escalona officially reported that the Public Ministry would prosecute Cheremos Carrasquel for the alleged commission of the crimes of terrorism, criminal association and illicit ammunition trafficking.
