The 6th Court of Control of the Yaracuy state decreed deprivation of liberty for the student of the Professional Troop Training Center of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) of Nirgua (Yaracuy), Yohanny Yulay Sánchez Sánchez (19), for the murder of her newborn daughter, an event that occurred on November 12 in the Yaracuy state, the Prosecutor’s Office reported.
That day, Sánchez told her roommates that she had menstrual pain, so she went to the bathroom where she remained for two hours. Subsequently, he left with a bucket in which the newborn was found, threw it in a garbage can and returned to his room.
After noticing the incident, other students from the center checked the place, where they found the girl inside the container wrapped in a shirt, so an argument immediately arose with the young woman, who threw the infant’s body again in the landfill.
During the altercation, the military personnel at the facility realized the situation and transported the woman and the victim to the Padre Oliveros Central Hospital of Nirgua, whose authorities alerted the municipal police officials about the admission of the patient with the lifeless body of a newborn.
Given this fact, a police commission went to the aforementioned health center and detained Sánchez.
