Deportivo Pereira received Once Caldas at the Hernán Ramírez Villegas stadium, starring in yet another edition of the Eje Cafetero classic, in a duel that at the end of the 90′ produced a 1-1.
This was one of the regional contests in which the two clubs arrived with little difference between them, since the locals came to the duel with 13 units while the visit started with 14 points.
From the outset, a deconcentrated Matecaña team was seen, and about two minutes into the first half a counter-attack was generated in which Alejandro García assisted Marlon Piedrahita, who put the first in the afternoon for Blanco.

However, only five minutes later the tie came, as Léider Berrío scored the first goal for Pereira after a pass from Jherson Mosquera, and it looked like a duel with several goals.
Nevertheless, emotions were running lowand at least in the first half there was little intervention from the goalkeepers, beyond a long-distance shot by Carlos Ramírez, which was saved by Eder Chaux, avoiding the second cry of the locals.
In the second half there was more game locked in the middle of the fieldand the goalkeepers had less task, Harlen Castillo’s participation being scarce, while Chaux repeatedly presented some discomfort towards the end of the duel, against a Pereira who insisted a little more.
