Hoy Paraguay

About the 81st minute, a crowd descended from the stands of the Doce de Octubre Stadium in the city of Tuluá, and invaded the field forcing the end of the game, as shown in the official broadcast.

Most of the soccer players and the judge fled, while some Cali players stayed on the field and were rebuked by fans upset about the deep crisis that the Colombian soccer team is experiencing.

Gutiérrez, a former Colombia and River Plate striker, was surrounded by several fans who threw punches and kicks at him.

Others tried to corner DT Mayer Candelo on the bench, who left the field between the pushes of the Cali fans, one of the teams with the longest history in the league.

Dozens of policemen were in the field but could not prevent the entry of the furious sugar fans.

So far the authorities have not given a balance of injured or detained in the event.

“The match is over (…) final score 2-0,” Dimayor, the governing body of Colombian soccer, wrote on his Twitter account.
