This Sunday’s elections for the directors of the BPS left accusations of “party political influence” by list 22, headed by Marcelo Ríos, and by Ramon Ruiz, representative of list 11, who accused of “a gross violation” of the electoral ban by the National Party in Flores.
List 22, which lost in the election in the order of businessmen, published on their official Twitter account that they lamented the “political party impact” in the elections of the Social Prevention Bank. Sources of that group told The Observer that specifically referred to the incidence of the National Party.
The list headed by Marcelo Ríos lost to list 26, supported by Un Solo Uruguay.

On the other hand, Ramón Ruiz, who was reelected to the order of active workers, reported that he denounced before the Court a “gross violation” of the electoral ban by the National Party in Flores, as a result of a publication that the departmental body of that community made last Friday in Ecos Regionales, where He urged voting for the lists supported by Un Solo Uruguay.
Ana Lía Piñeyrúa, Minister of the Electoral Court, told The Observer that they had learned of the matter from the press and that they had not yet received the formal complaint, but if it were to materialize, they would make the corresponding inquiries to determine responsibilities.
