Demonstrations were registered in Padre de las Casas due to the arrest of Héctor Llaitul

After the arrest of the leader of the Arauco Malleco Coordinator (CAM), Héctor Llaitul, various actions have been registered in opposition to the arrest and on this day a demonstration was registered in the commune of Padre de las Casas, in the Araucanía region.

A group of people blocked traffic at the railway line crossing and erected barricades near the Lawen Mapu Mapuche home, in a demonstration in which they carried canvases in support of Llaitul. According to Carabineros, the protesters burned tires and threw blunt objects at police personnel.
