Delsa Solórzano urged the National Commission of Primaries to announce the mechanisms to protect the identity of voters
the candidate Delsa Solorzano reiterated this Saturday, May 20, that for his Encuentro Ciudadano party it is vital to guarantee the reliability of the identity of the voters in the primary on October 22.
During a political act held on the terrace of the College of Engineers, the leader recalled the 2004 recall referendum against President Hugo Chávez from which the so-called Tascón list emerged “was manual, that is, that the process is manual does not guarantee reliability of the data”.
He added that in the 2012 primary election, a process in which several of the current candidates participated, the votes were counted by Tibisay Lucena, “certainly there was also an independent commission but the counting of the votes was in the hands of a CNE, in which We do not trust, and despite this, the data of the voter was not leaked ».
insisted that for Citizen Meeting it is vital that the names of all Venezuelans participating in the process be respected.
Solórzano applauded the work of the members of the National Commission of Primaries (CNP). “These are exemplary, honest men and women who have put their name to a task that is not easy and for which the country thanks them.”
“We call on the CNP to immediately announce the mechanisms to protect the identity of voters,” he said.
Solórzano led a meeting with the heads of the citizen nuclei, some 700 people in charge of forming the groups from which the witnesses and table members will come out to take care of the votes on October 22.
He thanked the presence of civil society representatives who continue to join the “United We Are Better” campaign command.
Solórzano announced that he will be presenting his government plan in the coming weeks, in which prominent Venezuelans are working. “For me, the leadership of Venezuela is not a whim, I have prepared hard and I know how to get the country out of this crisis,” he said.
