The “Family Economy” bonus is only enough to purchase a survival basket product for a family of four, which is estimated at Bs 615
The delivery of a new Bs 72 bonus began, belonging to the extensive list of monetary allocations made by Chavismo through the Patria System to complement the extremely poor monthly minimum wage of Bs 130, in force since March 2022.
The information was published by the Telegram channel “Canal Patria Digital”, a medium used by Chavismo to announce the delivery of bonds to its more than 103,000 subscribers, as well as news related to the management of Nicolás Maduro.
The bonus delivered on this occasion corresponds to the monthly allowance for “Family Economy”, which is granted to “heads of households in the country”.
The delivery of Bs 72 represents just $2.9 according to the exchange rate published by the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) this Monday, April 24, approximately half the current minimum wage.

This bonus, granted to support the income of families, is barely enough to purchase a product from the survival basket for a family of four, measured by the Venezuelan Finance Observatory (OVF).
The survival basket is an indicator that brings together nine inputs that guarantee the minimum and essential protein consumption required by a family to survive and has a weekly cost of Bs 615.25; Therefore, the allocation covers only 11.7% of the basket and would be enough for just 2 kg of white corn flour, valued at Bs 72.
How to obtain the “Family Economy” bonus?
This bonus is paid to the heads of the family, so it is necessary to register and confirm the labor and family data in the Patria System. Specifically, the following steps must be followed to claim the bonus:
- Enter your account on the Patria Platform.
- Update labor data and family nucleus.
- Verify and confirm the family load on the platform.
- All family members registered by the beneficiary must also be confirmed in their own Sistema Patria accounts.
