Incredible! An inmate who served a sentence for aggravated robbery, escaped from the prison of Piuraknown as former dry river. This was announced by the National Penitentiary Institute (INPE).
The leakage of the prisoner Fran Duck Panta Villalta, 25, occurred at 6:30 in the morning yesterday. The inner climbed the wall of the pavilion and jumped to the area called “Nobody Earth.”
Then, the gate that separates the towers covered by the institution and the aforementioned area. Subsequently, climb the staircase of Torreón No. 2, scale and escape to the outside. This could be checked by the INPE personnel by displaying the establishment’s surveillance cameras.
Only after that he escaped, around 8 in the morning and at the time the prison personnel made his relief, he noticed the absence of the prisoner in cell No. 13 of Pavilion 6 Law, where he was admitted.
Given this, they carried out their search in the different areas of the penitentiary establishment with incoming and outgoing staff, but with negative results. Then, they saw the images of the surveillance cameras and noticed that he had escaped from the prison.
Due to this, the person in charge of the penitentiary establishment communicated what happened to the Criminal Security Section (DECSEPEN) of the PNP, through a document. In addition, they did the same to the Criminal Prosecutor’s Office of the District of Castile, to carry out the investigations.
It was known that, due to this, the police carried out operations in different sectors of the jurisdiction, but without positive results, until the closing of this edition.
According to the police, the now fugitive Frank Duck Panta Villalta was complying with a sentence for the crime of aggravated robbery. This subject was arrested in 2022 by police officers from the Ciudad del Pescador police station, in Paita, because he would have been involved in the crime of aggravated robbery against two people in the Villa Rosa settlement, in Paita Alta.
The incident occurred when the aggrieved were on the front of a house in the King of Kings settlement and three subjects with firearms arrived in Mototaxi and stole their belongings. After that, the police carried out an operation in different areas and in a persecution, managed to arrest Panta Villalta, but the other subjects who went on the Mototaxi managed to flee the place.
