The construction of nine beltways is on the priority agenda of the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) for this year, its head explained yesterday, Delightful Ascension.
The minister pointed out that the institution expects to deliver at least six of these works within this year.

The Government Office of Information and Communication Technologies (OGTIC) and the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) signed an agreement of interinstitutional cooperation, which will allow the establishment of ties, actions and commitments between both institutions with the purpose of ijoin the services offered by the OGTIC to the institutions of the Dominican State.
Likewise, the OGTIC recognized the progress in electronic government that the Ministry has achieved, through compliance with the information and communication technology standards NORTIC A2, NORTIC A3 and NORTIC E1
