Deligne Ascención llama perremeístas a darle “cerrado apoyo” a Modernización Fiscal

The Eng. Deligne Ascencion BurgosNational Secretary of Organization of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), today urged the leadership and militancy of that organization to close ranks in support of the Fiscal Modernization Law presented yesterday by the president Luis Abinader.

Ascención Burgos highlights that this tax reform is a fundamental step to modernize the Dominican tax system, making it more fair, efficient and competitive that will contribute to the economic growth of the country and improve the quality of life of all Dominicans.

“In our capacity as National Secretary of Organization of the PRM We call on all colleagues and leaders of the party to provide support to the government and our leader, President Luis Abinader, who works full time to leave the best legacy for the benefit of present and future generations.

He explained that the Perremeístas must “inform the people face to face” that the decision on tax reform is a necessity that has been recognized by the political class, businessmen and economists and even if it involves sacrifices, it must be supported as a step forward.

“It is time to join forces and work together for the well-being of the Dominican Republicto which a fiscal pact will contribute that we all know is necessary to strengthen public finances for the benefit of development and improving the quality of life of the people.

Mr. Ascención Burgos invites the entire Dominican population to delve deeper and study the benefits of this tax modernization law. It is important that each citizen inform themselves about the proposed changes and the benefits they will bring in terms of security, health and infrastructure and general development for the country.

Leading by example

“The government is leading by example by beginning this process with significant state savings and cost reductions, because this reform is an opportunity to build a better future for everyone,” he said.

“At this decisive moment to continue moving forward, I reaffirm my commitment to the country and to the PRM, to continue working to achieve a more prosperous and sustainable future for all Dominicans,” he said.
