The head of the Public Ministry, Delia Espinozatoday rejoined the Superior Prosecutor Azucena Solari Escobedo, who was replaced in his duties, together with Supreme Prosecutor Patricia Benavides, by the National Board of Justice (JNJ).
The resolution published in the newspaper El Peruano indicates that Solari will assume as coordinator of the Superior Criminal Prosecutor and the Prosecutors specialized in human rights and interculturality.
Solari Escobedo had been dismissed by the JNJ in May 2024 at the conclusion that he prepared the low productivity report that served as a support for Benavides, then prosecutor of the Nation, to remove prosecutor Bersabeth Revilla that investigated Judge Enma Benavides.
His restitution was arranged in the same resolution of the JNJ that annulled the defenestration of the Benavides sisters, issued last June 12.
The resolution of Delia Espinoza is published one day after formalizing the reinstatement of Patricia Benavides to the Board of Supreme Prosecutors.
Yesterday, Espinoza pretended that Benavides be derived as a representative before the National Jury of Elections, but the rest of the Supreme Prosecutors rejected the proposal.
However, the highest fiscal authority does not designate dispatch to its predecessor.
