Delfina Gómez returns to Texcoco to close her pre-campaign; augurs the departure of the PRI

The teacher failed the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), whose pre-candidate, Alejandra Del Moral, heads the opposition bloc meeting in Va por México, also held her pre-campaign closing hours before.

“I hope that in the campaign they make proposals and abandon hatred as a way of doing politics,” warned the morenista.

“All measurements confirm that the change is unstoppable. We have won this stage in the street and in the hearts,” said the former Secretary of Education, accompanied by the national leader of Morena, Mario Delgado, the state delegate and senator, Higinio Martínez, and Horacio Duarte, coordinator of his campaign.

“(Texcoco was elected) this same day, at the same time, to close their pre-campaign our rivals, the conservatives, the usual rivals who intend to continue being owners of our entity,” said Higinio Martínez.

That is – he added – a “sign that we are doing very well”: “(Delfina) has set the agenda… she made them come to offer her respect, to pay homage, to ask for permission, to ask for forgiveness in advance, that’s what they came for those from there.”
