Vice President Delcy Rodríguez presents to the 2020 National Assembly the budget and debt bills for the 2023 fiscal year
One day before the deadline for the National Assembly elected in 2020 to approve the 2023 National Budget Bill, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez presented part of the content of the estimated income and expenditure report for next year.
According to documents obtained by SuchWhich In recent days, the budget for 2023 was established at 170,703 million bolivars, of which Bs 108.3 million correspond to oil revenues and Bs 62.4 million to non-oil revenues.
“Who has blocked Venezuela’s money in the world? Almost 42% of the sanctions are directed at the country’s finances,” he said this Wednesday, December 14, in the plenary session of the AN when taking stock of the impact of the United States sanctions against the administration of Nicolás Maduro.
In addition, from the income and expense report for the 2023 fiscal year, the Special Debt Law project and the Annual Operating Plan for next year were presented.
Last October, Minister Ricardo Menéndez, Minister of Planning, delivered the documents to the AN, which were not published for the knowledge of public opinion. There was also no information about the discussion of the budget in the different Parliament committees, with the presence of the 33 ministers that make up the executive branch or the presidents of the affiliated entities.
