The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a working meeting this Wednesday with the Vice Prime Minister of the Interior and Public Order of Guinea Bissau, Soares Sambú.
The meeting aims to strengthen the strategic alliances that both nations maintain, as well as relaunch a work path that aims at the common good of the countries in the face of new challenges in the region.
It should be remembered that Venezuela and Guinea Bissau, in 17 years of relations, have signed more than 20 cooperation agreements in different areas, the commercial and cultural agenda being the most important.
This Tuesday, the installation of the Mixed commission between both countries.
Both countries have signed 22 cooperation instruments and exchange visits such as the one made by the President of Guinea Bissau on November 2 and 3, 2022, the celebration of this Mixed Commission was completed.
A delegation from the Republic of Guinea-Bissauheaded by Soares Sambú, Vice Prime Minister of the Interior and Public Order, arrived in Venezuela on Monday, with the aim of installing the I Meeting of the Mixed Commission Venezuela – Guinea-Bissau.
The official and the delegation of that country were received at the Simón Bolívar International Airport, in La Guaira, by the Vice Minister for Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Yuri Pimentel.
During their stay in the city of Caracas, the Guinea Bissau delegation is expected to develop a productive work agenda, in order to strengthen bilateral relations.
