“Today an important event has occurred for Venezuela, the first discussion of the Amnesty Law has been unanimously approved by all the political forces that make up the Venezuelan Parliament,” said acting president Delcy Rodríguez, after ensuring that this law will serve to consolidate peace and national reconciliation.
During an act to adapt the Peace Quadrants in the state of Bolívar, he highlighted that differences must be overcome through harmonious relationships and democratic coexistence.
In that sense, he stressed that the forces of transformation and the Bolivarian Revolution have once again extended their hand for democratic coexistence, peace and national reconciliation.
“Do not miss this opportunity, we are extending our hand to you, and we hope that with political maturity we can face this new challenge,” he expressed, in addition to emphasizing that the process must be built between two parties for it to be authentic and lasting.
Likewise, Rodríguez called to consolidate national power and Popular Power, and strengthen Bolivarian consciousness. “We must heal Venezuela from the hatred, from the intolerance that extremists and fascists brought to the country; we must free Venezuela from that hatred that has eaten away at them,” he said.
