One of the main promoters of violence for political purposes in El Valle, Caracas, was killed during a procedure carried out last Monday by Cicpc agents in the La Avioneta sector, Vieja Petare-Guarenas highway, according to reports.
The victim is Darwin Galis Carvajal Pérez (El Dubai), who was the leader of Los Bataneros del 70, a criminal gang dedicated to the distribution of drugs in Los Cardones, La Manzana, El Tamarindo, La Cajigal, among other sectors of El Valle.
In addition, the subject led one of the cells that carried out the violent actions on Intercomunal Avenue in El Valle on July 29 and 30, after a sector of the opposition was unaware of the victory of candidate Nicolás Maduro in the presidential elections.
Members of that Dubai cell are accused of being responsible for the murder of two people during those days of violence near the El Valle Shopping Center. They were also in charge of locating the grassroots leaders of Chavismo in the aforementioned Caracas parish to personally tell them: “You arrive until the 28th.”
On the evening of Monday, July 29, once the burning of tires, cars and destruction of businesses in El Valle had begun, alias El Dubai and his group attempted to take over the El Valle Police Coordination Center. To do this, they advanced to Plaza Bolívar where they were repelled by the uniformed men. Subsequently, they attempted to carry out a second action to assault the aforementioned police station and used drones that informed them of the conditions of the place.
The plans were to reach the women’s prison that exists next to the Police Coordination Center and release a group of women, who are partners of negative leaders of gangs that operate in El Valle, according to investigations.
