Alberger José Salerno Martínez, 35 years old, an active member of the Los Jardineros criminal organization, was killed by members of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) in the state of Carabobo.
According to the report, officials from the Mariara Municipal Delegation were deployed in the Libertador sector, Mariara parish, Diego Ibarra municipality, on the trail of the subject, who, upon seeing himself cornered, “unholstered a pistol-type firearm, using it against the investigations in order to “Trying to flee the scene, however, he was injured and was taken to a health center where he died.”
The criminal, who was verified in the Police Investigation and Information System (Siipol), presented a request to the Sixth Control Court of the Carabobo state for the crime of qualified intentional homicide in addition to searches for carrying, detaining or concealing weapons.
The members of the criminal organization Los Jardineros are dedicated to the marketing of narcotics and extortion in the Carabobo entity, generating anxiety in the community. Officials are still on the trail of other criminals.
