Santo Domingo.-The five men who fell dejected to that allegedly face National Police agents made up a dangerous criminal organization dedicated to sicariate, arms trafficking, kidnappings and compulsive charges linked to drug trafficking, according to the preliminary report issued by the authorities.
The incident occurred yesterday afternoon on Olympic Avenue, La Barranquita sector, in Santiago, during an intelligence operation in which supposedly, by noticing the police presence, individuals opened fire and agents repelled the aggression.
The deceased were identified as Edward Bernardo Peña Rodríguez; Carlos Enrique Guzmán Navarro, aka “El Charly” or “Charli Chasc”; José Vladimir Valerio Estévez; Elvis Antonio Martínez Rodríguez, and Julio Alberto Gómez.
Everyone died while receiving medical care at the Doctor Cabral and Báez hospital, after being injured in the exchange of shooting.
In the intervention five firearms were occupied (including an AR-15 rifle and a UZI machine gun), in addition to three vehicles, one of which contained a precision balance commonly used to weigh controlled substances.
During the operation, the Cape of the National Yhandy Encarnación, who remains admitted to a health center was seriously injured.
Likewise, a fugitive was identified, pointed out as the leader of the structure: Ronny Abel Sánchez Morillo, aka “Mudita”, who managed to escape aboard a white Mazda Yipeta without a plate.
The search for this supposed band head is carried out actively, police reported.
As for the record of the deceased, the authorities indicated that Peña Rodríguez was being sought by the death of Brailin de Jesús Sánchez; while Guzmán Navarro had a history of homicides and crimes related to WL drug world.
For his part, “Mudita” has an arrest warrant for the murder of Rafael Nicolás Puello Santos, aka “Bulilo”, in the Hato Mayor Sector of Santiago.
Also in Santiago, the National Police captured in the Beijing sector an individual who two weeks ago shot a young man at the Malecon of San Felipe in Puerto Plata.
The alleged homicide arrested is Deivi Luis García Guerrero (capital), 20, a native of the Los Girasoles sector in the National District, who will be subjected to justice in the next few hours.
