The Ministry of Defense informed that it will forward on Wednesday (9) to the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) the inspection report of the electronic voting system prepared by technicians of the Armed Forces.
The military are part of the transparency commission created by the TSE itself to oversee the elections, which ended on October 30th.
With the end of the election, other entities also delivered to the Electoral Court their conclusions on the electoral process.
Last week, the international mission of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) concluded that the Brazilian elections took place safely and reliably.
According to the entity, voting by means of electronic voting machines is “reliable and credible” and allowed the rapid counting of votes. According to the CPLP, there are no complaints likely to question the transparency of the voting process.
The Organization of American States (OAS) mission, which also participated in previous elections as an observer, stated that there were no irregularities in 100% of the tests and audits monitored by the OAS.
