Santo Domingo.– The National Education Council yesterday approved the Decenal of Education Horizon 2034, a strategy that defines the goals that must be achieved in the next ten years to ensure that students of the pre -university education system achieve learning that allow them to integrate successfully into society and to the work world.
To achieve that purpose, the Plan proposes to expand and adapt the educational offer; professionalize and supervise the teaching work; Develop an updated and contextualized curriculum and execute an efficient, pedagogical and administrative management efficient, articulated, transparent and results -oriented.
The document is the result of an effort carried out by the current authorities, then broad consultation with students, teachers, directors of educational centers, civil society and other actors.
The Plan proposes an inclusive, equitable and quality education that ensures access, progression and culmination of pre -university education and relevant learning.
