In the same way, among the plans of the Government, in the World Economic Forum that is taking place in Switzerland with heads of State, world leaders and international organizations, is to present proposals to face the climate crisis, promote the energy transition and the different actions to achieve Total Peace.

“The ecological and energy transition is required with a multilateral commitment that changes the financial systems that, on the contrary, end up suffocating more, economically, the countries that are suffering climate devastation,” said Muhamad.

Along with this, the Colombian delegation will call for progress in financing the energy transition, which not only take into account the change in the energy matrixbut the effects of fiscal replacement and the trade balance.

We are going to work around the international financial system, the climate crisis and how we should adapt free trade agreements so that they respond to the priorities of the climate crisis”, specified the Minister.
