The death toll from the massive fire that swept through a nightclub in Thailand rose to 15 peoplereported this Saturday a rescue service.
The fire broke out early Friday morning at the Mountain B nightspot in the Sattahip district of Chonburi province, about 150 kilometers southeast of Bangkok.
The Sawang Rojanathammasathan rescue foundation explained that another man had died, raising the number of victims to 15, according to the AFP news agency.
Most of the deceased, four women and 11 men, were found huddled by the entrance and in the bathroom, their bodies badly burned, detailed the rescuers. The fatal victims were between 17 and 49 years old, and reportedly all would be Thai.
Some relatives of the victims traveled to Bangkok to recover the bodies of their relatives after being examined by forensic experts.
